Hitch Group has been a contractor of choice for rail projects, especially over the last two years while I have been employed at Metro Trains.
Hitch Group has carried out a wide range of rail systems scope including:
• Clearing/grubbing/demolition activities
• OHW foundation works
• OHW structure erection/removals
• CSR installation, including under line crossings
• Substation upgrade works
Hitch groups personnel are often requested as a first choice in occupations and come with a reputation of being highly dependable, and an understanding of what is required to complete the job.
Thanks,

OHLE Project Engineer
To date Hitch Group has been used to complete the following works on site;
• Clearing/grubbing activities
• OHW foundation works
• OHW structure erection/removals
• CSR installation
• Local installation
• Substation upgrade works
Hitch Group has always provided a high calibre personnel that is experienced in working within a brownfields rail environment and well versed in working occupations and/or dayworks adjacent live passenger services.
Hitch Group is currently self-performing CSR works on CTD and coordinates his own site independent of full-time supervision.
Hitch Group is typically tasked with the technically challenging substation works, as they guys have sufficient knowledge and experience to handle the risks associated and manage GPP/PTW/NAE processes autonomously.
